Retouching Tools

Healing Brush Tool: Removes flaws like wrinkles, scratches, and spots by blending sampled pixels with problem areas.
How to use: Select the tool, select sampled pixels (Alt+Click), then drag over the flaws to repair. -
Spot Healing Brush Tool: Automatically selects adjacent pixels to remove flaws. No manual sampling needed.

Layers in Photoshop
- Layers are transparent sheets stacked to form a complete image. Each object can be on a separate layer.

- Adding/Renaming/Deleting Layers: New layer button, double-click to rename, click delete button.
- Duplicating Layers: Use Layers Panel menu to duplicate.
Filters in Photoshop
Filters are special effects that change the appearance (shadow, glow, emboss, bevel, etc.). Apply filters to layer/part of layer via the Filter menu, then adjust dialog settings (distortion, texture, smoothness).
